The New Life Music Ministry is committed to exalting Jesus Christ above all. True, biblical worship is more than just singing or playing an instrument (Rom. 12.2). God desires that our lives reflect the attitude of praise and worship that we profess on Sunday mornings (Mark 12:30, Ps. 138:1). Worship should be a vital part of our everyday lives as believers (Ps. 103:1). Jesus is Lord! We desire to esteem His Lordship in every area of our lives (2 Cor. 4:5).
At New Life our time of praise is a wonderful time of corporate response to the works and greatness of the Father (Ex. 3, Isa. 6, Rom. 11:36, 1 Chron. 16:34). The church’s song is Spirit-led for the sake of teaching, admonishing, praising, expressing joy, lamenting through difficulty, praying together with one voice, declaring the Gospel of Jesus, and for many other biblical reasons (Col. 3:16-17, Jer. 29:12, Ps. 105:1, Ps. 42:11, Ps. 99). New Life sings to: express the truth of God’s Word (Ps. 71:8), to unite as the Bride of Christ exalting the Son, and to give our whole hearts to the worship of God in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24). We encourage every follower of Jesus to participate whole-heartedly in the corporate, everlasting praise song, giving glory to God, and exalting the Son (Rev. 4).
