Cory Matson’s favorite verses are 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18. These verses remind her of God’s constant love. Cory has been working as the church secretary since 2005—when New Life started. “The Lord has been in charge of New Life since its birth. We just got out of His way and let Him work. It’s His church.”
Though her duties have changed over the years, she has felt led by the Lord to volunteer her time. In her current duties, she keeps the partnership and legal records, annual meeting records, helps answer calls for the church, and sets up the baptism days.
